
ROAD TO DEAF INTERPRETING

COHORT TRAINING SERIES

2026-2027: 7th Cohort
RDI is proud to announce that the Road to Deaf Interpreting (RDI) training series starting March 2026! We will start accepting applications in January 2026!
​
This program prepares Deaf, DeafDisabled, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and Late-Deafened people to become Deaf Interpreters. This is a small cohort of 20 participants primarily taught by teachers who are Deaf Interpreters.
​
There are 12 weekends, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday 9 am to 3 pm, with intensive courses/topics to prepare new Deaf Interpreters to enter the interpreting field with skills, resources, and knowledge. Each course in the series includes in-class lectures, discussions, hands-on activities, and assignments.
​
You can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and ACETs by taking the courses.

Courses are held in Worcester, Massachusetts and are open to participants from throughout New England.

Applicants from other states may be accepted if space is available.
