Stephanie Hakulin

Stephanie Hakulin, BA in Communication Studies at Gallaudet University and Deaf Interpreter (DI).  Currently, she works at The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) as a Staff DI and as a faculty member at the University of New Hampshire in Manchester. She is also involved with the CIT (Conference of Interpreter Trainers). As a strong advocate and activist, she currently holds a position as the Vice President of the National Association of the Deaf. I was also past president of the Massachusett State Association for the Deaf (MSAD) and the Central Regional Representative for MassRID. Her previous and current experiences include interpreting for the Commonwealth's Press Conferences, attending Road to Deaf Interpreter (RDI) workshops, Deaf Interpreter Conference, DeafBlind Training (DBII), and Mental Health Interpreting (MHIT). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, doing cardio workouts, traveling, and being a fur-Auntie to Charlie and Jack Gibbs and Nemo (my cat).
